Back to School

This first week has been meh.
1. Scary teachers who stare in random directions (and at you)
2. Teachers with white faces and cheena haircuts
3. Trademark orange-copper hair with black roots (it just shows you can't maintain it)
4. NOT ENOUGH MALE TEACHERS
You see, all my science teachers are female. And guess what female teachers are known for? a) fierceness, b) having moodswings very often (yes, Fish is female), c) being particularly good at scolding, d) annoying, loud piggy voices, e) inability to keep students awake due to said annoying voices. Maybe it's because all my life i'd had male science teachers that it's so hard to suddenly listen to 3 female teachers talk about science. But then imagine 3 mathers scolding you at once, one about rough endoplasmic reticulums, one about cotton wool and white solids, and one about cheetahs. Nothing like it to make you feel you're stuck in a tornado of mathers! OH NO, I'M SUBCONSCIOUSLY SEXIST!
But that's not all! Due to having the 'priviledge' of taking 9 subjects, I get home after 4 or 5 (if Jiahui lets us grab a bite) every single day. And I get hungry, constantly. And thirsty. That's the worst.
Probably the weirdest thing about this year is that we know so many people personally-ish, but we're not in the same class as them. I mean, we've become the 'sometimes' friends and not the people we make fun of Mr Teo with, or laugh at D7 with, or criticise Fish's teaching with, or annoy Mr Poon with, or quote Mr Keong with (who's my A Math teacher by the way! SO! Very happy ah, very happy).
Especially since my class now is a quiet class. (For now). I mean, there isn't anyone crazy to sing about Sara's pee with (Except Phoebe), or make fun of Mr Poon's pink shirts. Or recycled clothes of female teachers. And how they only have 3 dresses and fat arms. But anyhoo, you just can't joke like you used to, making lessons demi-times more boring =( Learning can be fun! Where there's an evil person, THERE'S A WAY!
