Crammed week
Tuesday, January 20, 2009 3:07 PM
I feel extremely bad.
My weeks are all taken up by school, CCA, piano, chinese and math tuition, school homework, and tuition homework.
Monday?
1. CCA. I get home just in time for dinner.
2. School homework i'll have to do at night.
Tuesday?
1. Piano. I get home at about 3 and piano is from 3.30 to 4+ or sometimes 5.
2.Chinese tuition homework.
(If it's alot like I have today - 1 zuo wen, bei 1 ke shou ce, 1 assessment lian xi, I really do not have time to finish. I need 2 hours just for zuo wen and 1 for the lian xi)
3. School homework.
Wednesday?
1. Chinese tuition. I get home at around 2.45 and tuition is 3.15 - 4.15.
2. School homework.
Thursday?
1. CCA. Same as monday.
2. School homework at night.
Friday
1. Replacements for piano lessons and math tuition
2. School homework.
3. Math tuition homework.
Saturday
1. Math tuition 1pm - 2.30pm
2. School homework.
3. Chinese tuition homework - same as Wed.
If I do get alot of homework, I have to stay up and do the shou ce memorising the next morning.
"Rest" day
1. Chinese tuition 9.30am\8.30am - 11+,
have to wait for brother (M&M: B, Darshini: The one with the PSP) to finish because we go over to the teacher's house and then go home together, reach home 1+\2+ if parents bring us out to eat. And by that I mean hawker centres. Nothing fancy.
2. School homework
3. If I have any time at all, play some PS3.
Add PBL, LSCEP projects, studying time, subject projects and you have a winning combination of total time-waste.
As you can see, I skip lunch for 3 days every week. Just so I can make it home on time.
"At least you have tuition to help you."
Now is it proven that tuition helps?
For the most part it is the student who needs to put in effort.
Put in effort when you go home hungry everytime you have tuition or piano.
Wow my life is splendid hooray.
